Chris Olechowski, FSA, MAAA

Chris joined ARC in 2010 and is involved with consulting projects based on actuarial projection models. Prior to joining ARC he spent 5 years with a major consulting firm and 7 years in a variety of roles at life insurance companies. He has accumulated a broad range of experience in actuarial model/system development and its applications, with focus on providing management relevant analytics within a controlled environment. Chris’ projects have included large scale implementations of end-to-end actuarial systems and processes designed to enable client's model governance frameworks.
His recent activity has focused on advanced asset/liability reinvestment/disinvestment strategies, IFRS 17, US GAAP valuation/analysis and the development of movement analysis processes to identify drivers of financial results. In addition, Chris has experience with the implementation of US GAAP LDTI, IFRS 17, Solvency II, Embedded Value, US Statutory valuation and asset/liability models. His asset/liability modeling experience includes working with Prophet, GGY AXIS, MoSes and TAS. Chris regularly works with actuaries and non-actuaries, bridging the gap with his ability to speak their respective languages. This includes meeting needs of the CFO and IT.
