​Consulting Actuary

ARC has a position open in its Overland Park, KS office (Kansas City metro area) for an ASA or FSA to work in its modeling and projection consulting division. This position will also be involved in the development of product and company models for pricing and cash flow testing.

The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in financial reporting and/or actuarial modeling

• Strong project management skills

• Experience in supervising the work of actuarial students

• Experience with actuarial software systems such as ARCVAL, Prophet®, AXIS®, or ALFA®

• Exposure to Life, Health, and Annuity insurance lines

• Work on projects such as product pricing, financial reporting, experience analysis and actuarial modeling

• Development and implementation of actuarial applications

Qualifications:

• Actuarial Science/Mathematics major

• Prefer GPA 3.5

• Two or more actuarial exams passed

• Excel skills
