Nathan A. Campbell, FSA, MAAA

Principal and Director of Consulting

 

Mr. Campbell has over 24 years of experience in the life insurance industry.  This includes a variety of actuarial positions with insurance companies and Actuarial Resources Corporation. He has also actively participated in American Academy of Actuaries and Society of Actuaries work.  He has accumulated a broad range of experience, as outlined below. His recent activities have focused on managing a  team of consultants implementing Prophet and ARCVAL for Clients.  In his spare time, Nate enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife and keeping up with all the activities of his two daughters.

  • Project Management

    • Managing a multinational Prophet implementation for a large International Insurance Company coordinating the efforts of both ARC and client staff

    • Managing Partner for multiple Prophet & ARCVAL Software implementations

    • Plan Development and Oversight of End to End Implementations

  • Appointed Actuary

    • Served as Appointed Actuary for client companies

  • Statutory, Tax and U.S. GAAP

    • Lead consultant in the conversion of various lines of business from existing client valuation platforms to the ARCVAL and Prophet systems

    • Managing partner for US GAAP LDTI implementations on ARCVAL

    • Served as a key member of a valuation team with responsibilities for statutory, tax an GAAP reporting on multiple life and annuity lines of business

    • Team leader in due diligence review of a client company prior to merger

  • Asset Liability Management

    • Cash Flow Testing and Asset Adequacy Testing
