John D. Hegstrom, FSA, MAAA
Senior Consulting Actuary
John has over 25 years of experience in the life insurance industry. This includes a variety of actuarial positions with life insurance companies and Actuarial Resources Corporation. He has a broad range of relevant experience and expertise which include actuarial modeling system conversion/coding, pricing/product development, cash flow testing and ALM.
One of John’s particular areas of expertise is model compression and efficiency. He originally developed the Accutility software package offered by ARC. John continues to be responsible for the direction and development of ARC’s Accutility model compression software package.
In his spare time, John enjoys hiking and playing guitar. He also enjoys spending quality time with his wife and his two children.
